At this point you get to create your character using the by-the-number character creator, choosing gender, face, hair style, scars and tats, and finally a skill specification. After a brief opening movie that plays out more like a corporate investment video for an island utopia you find yourself being whisked away by chopper to that very island to investigate a disturbance. The game does balance most encounters for the number of people playing, but there are some major set piece missions in the main story progression that will quickly turn fun into frustration if you try taking on a small army by yourself.īreakpoint wastes no time in getting started. There have been many DLC episodes that added new story missions along with new weapons and vehicles. In addition to Immersive mode, players new to the game may also be interested in the content the game has received since launch. Immersive mode lets players turn off gear levels entirely and instead introduces new tactical options to customize such as your stamina level, bandage quantity, primary weapon quantity, and realistic looting. You’ll have three options to choose from: regular experience, immersive experience, and custom experience.
This mode comes with multiple options to help make the game feel more realistic and immersive. In March 2020, Ubisoft released an update that added Immersive Mode to the game.
